Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep all flooring surfaces in excellent condition.
- Follow established protocols for janitorial and industrial cleaning to uphold health standards and safety regulations.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas to ensure availability of essentials like toiletries and cleaning products.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and laundry machines.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
