Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on OTR or regional routes, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
- All Drop and Hook freight
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations
- Loads are NO TOUCH!!
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for mechanical issues and proper load securement
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit
Experience
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and recent experience in commercial truck driving
- Proven experience.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for over-the-road (OTR) or regional driving routes
- Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) to ensure compliance during all phases of transportation
- Minimum 1 year OTR
