Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Assist in bussing tables by clearing away used dishes and utensils promptly.
- Help maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
- Support food service staff by restocking supplies as needed throughout service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to food handling safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with catering events as required, ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for use.
Skills
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a strong desire to help others succeed in a team-oriented setting.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks such as cleaning and lifting items.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
