Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented On-Site Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. Industry experience in multi-family management is required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. This role requires effective communication, negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to property management, ensuring tenant satisfaction and compliance with all relevant laws.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring a high level of service for residents.
- Enforce Fair Housing regulations and maintain compliance with all applicable laws.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize OneSite software for managing resident files, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals effectively to maximize occupancy rates.
- Implement upselling strategies for available units to enhance revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and upkeep of the property.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) guidelines is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
- Proficient in office management tasks, including filing and record keeping.
- Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with residents.
- Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
