Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established standards.
- Organize linens and create house kits from owner supplies.
- Sort laundry items by item owner or house while reporting stains and damages ensuring that each laundry kit is clean, stain free, and completed.
- Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialized garments as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sorting stations, storage rooms, and equipment to uphold health and safety standards.
- Assist with general cleaning tasks around the premises to support overall hygiene and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and laundry chemicals; notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Follow safety protocols during all laundry processes to prevent accidents or damage to garments.
Experience
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, ironing machines, and dry cleaning tools is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
