EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Independently performs skilled mechanical repair work in the adjustment, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of machinery and equipment such as water pumps, mechanical laundry equipment, and continuing work assignments in accordance with diagrams. Other duties include the
inspection, repair and conducting preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment in tunnels and on tunnels approaches, to conduct and report on structural inspections of tunnels, and viaducts, reading operating manuals, while following the manufacturer's specifications, basic trade practices, and other related duties as assigned.
