We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infant children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for engaging with the children, attending to their individual needs, following the Highscope Curriculum, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth and address any concerns.
- Incorporate literacy education techniques to enhance reading and writing skills among students.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with special needs or different learning styles.
- Foster a love for learning by integrating hands-on activities and real-world applications into lessons.
- Collaborate with other educators to create interdisciplinary projects that enrich the curriculum.
Experience
- Previous experience in a private school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Background in childcare or tutoring is advantageous for understanding student needs.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and Montessori methods is a plus.
- Proven experience working with students in a classroom setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effectively interacting with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience in classroom management techniques that promote respect and responsibility among students.
