GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED LIFT VAN DRIVERS
McGregor PACE, a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, has employment opportunities for Lift Van Drivers. We are seeking experienced Customer service-focused LIFT VAN DRIVERS who are responsible for the safe transport of our frail older individuals to/from their homes, the Day Health Center, and off-site medical appointments.
Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Prior experience transporting people with special mobility needs preferred.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Ohio Driver’s License with two points or less.
CDL is not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience working with the frail or elderly population, transporting children, or individuals with mobility needs
- Competence in transporting individuals with special mobility needs, including dementia, wheelchairs, and walkers, preferred.
- Excellent driving skills; experienced in navigating 12-15-seat wheelchair lift passenger vans.
- Knowledge of Cuyahoga County roads preferred.
- Defensive driving course, passenger assistance certification preferred.
- Prior experience transporting people with special mobility needs preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License with two points or less.
- CDL is not required.
