Looking for a construction coordinator for a growing telecommunications construction company in the Wendell, NC area. Candidate should have experience in outside plant construction along with coax and fiber construction.
- Preferred five years in the telecommunications industry
- Self motivated, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Understanding of coax and fiber plant, aerial and under ground construction procedures and materials
- Candidate should be well-organized, proactive, resourceful, flexible, able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers, meet deadlines
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, Smartsheets, Drop Box, email, Adobe pro and word processing programs
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
- Flexibility in working overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tracking all jobs and keeping the customer informed about project status and issues that may affect deadlines
- Review and interpret telecommunication construction plans and specifications
- Facilitate communication between different teams involved in the construction process
- Assist in obtaining and tracking permits and locate tickets
- Creating and maintaining project files, and associated support documentation
- Other duties as assigned
