A $2.00/hour differential is added for any hours worked on the Third Shift (not included in the initial base rate).
When your shift begins, you review the production run sheet and confirm the right ingredients, packaging, and labels are staged. You set up the line, dial in product and process parameters, and bring the equipment up to speed. Throughout the run, you watch machine indicators, listen for changes, and adjust to maintain steady performance. You verify seals are tight, weights are on target, and labels are accurate so every bag leaving the line meets specifications and counts. You keep thorough batch records, support quick changeovers, and leave the line clean and ready for the next product. Safety, GMP, SOP, and HACCP practices guide every move you make.
- Operate and fine-tune production machinery to hit product and process targets
- Verify materials and labels before startup; confirm compliance with the run sheet
- Continuously monitor machine performance during production
- Inspect output for seal integrity, proper weight, and accurate labeling
- Ensure packaging and product conform to specifications and required quantities
- Complete batch documentation with precision and timeliness
- Assist with line changeovers and perform equipment cleaning between runs
- High school diploma
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
- 3+ years working with manufacturing equipment and processes in a GMP/SOP environment
- Equipment and mechanical troubleshooting
- Food and beverage manufacturing know-how
- HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Mixing, blending, and weighing raw materials
- Pasteurization process familiarity
- Setting up machines for production runs
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
