Community Support Advocates is hiring for a Part Time Family Peer Support Specialist. The Family Peer Support Specialist serves as an integral member of CSA’s Community Based Services Interdisciplinary team. The Family Peer Support Specialist’s primary roles are to encourage members and families to promote the concept of “whole health” by encouraging parents, families and caregivers to take control of their own health and wellness. The Family Peer Support Specialist performs a wide range of tasks to support familiess in driving their own recovery process. Family Peer Support Specialists role model hope, personal responsibility, self-advocacy, coping skills development and community connectedness.

Upon completion of the Family Peer Support Training certification you will be eligible for an additional wage increase.
Education and/or Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be the parent of a child (or adult ) with an emotional, behavioral or mental health disorder.
