Follow written POC program as given by supervising therapists, based on the individual patient needs and physician approval, to obtain goals.

Communicate on a regular basis with supervising therapists’ approval, to obtain goals.

Provide appropriate clinical followup by reporting unfavorable signs and symptoms to supervising therapists.

Participate in case coordination regularly with staff nurses and physicians and documents appropriately in medical record.

Use universal precautions and infection control as required to prevent cross contamination and transmission of disease with patients.

Facilitate patients ROM, strength coordination, use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications functional mobility and safety issues related to patient’s ADL performance needs under the supervision of the OTR.

Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy with current license to practice occupational therapy
