Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Service Electrician to join our dynamic team at Serrano Electric, Inc. This position is essential for maintaining our high standards of service and safety while working on various electrical projects throughout the Silicon Valley.
Job Role & Responsibilities
· Project layout
· Use task specific hand tools and power tools
· Conduit measurement, bending and threading
· Maintain and repair electrical equipment using technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
· Be self-managing with the ability to be resourceful, plan and organize work
· Perform trouble calls and emergency maintenance
· Pulling and terminating wire from #14THHN - #600MCM
· Installation of light fixtures
· Installation of lighting control systems including, but not limited to: Lutron VIVE, Wattstopper DLM, nLight and Greengate.
· Installation of breakers, switchgear, transformers and panels
· Make connections to HVAC and motor devices
· Able to troubleshoot multitude of electrical issues
Responsible for overall functionality, code compliance and success of the project

· Demonstrate pre-planning abilities
· Ability to reach and understand plans and specifications
· Ability to communicate with the customer and work in occupied spaces
· Delegate tasks and assist with training your team members
· Follow safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications
High School or equivalent (preferred)
Active/Current CA State Certification
