Meals on Wheels of Greeley & Weld County is seeking a compassionate and dependable Satellite Operations Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our Firestone satellite location. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently while building relationships with volunteers and serving older adults throughout southern Weld County.
Every day, you'll help ensure homebound older adults receive nutritious meals, a friendly visit, and the support they need to remain independent in their own homes.

Meals on Wheels of Greeley & Weld County has been serving older adults throughout Weld County by providing nutritious meals, wellness check ins, and compassionate connections that help older adults live safely and independently. Our dedicated staff and volunteers believe that every meal delivered is an opportunity to improve someone's day and sometimes, save a life.
What You'll Do
As the Satellite Operations Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate the daily operations of the Firestone satellite office.
- Prepare meals for delivery by overseeing the heating process and portioning side dishes and donated food.
- Coordinate approximately 20 volunteers each week and maintain volunteer schedules.
- Serve as the primary contact for volunteers during meal deliveries.
- Answer client phone calls regarding meal deliveries and schedule changes.
- Maintain accurate program records and documentation.
- Monitor frozen meal inventory and donated food supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Deliver meals when emergency volunteer coverage is needed.
- Work closely with the Greeley office to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform other duties that support our mission.

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and CAPS check
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in customer service, nonprofit organizations, volunteer coordination, logistics, or office administration
- Food service or food safety experience (training provided)
