Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring adherence to safety standards and industry codes. The Welder will work with different materials and tools, contributing to the production of high-quality components.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using Stick welding, FCAW, and other techniques as required.
- Fabricate metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate plasma cutting equipment for precise cuts in various materials.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Conduct routine inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling when necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Familiarity with soldering techniques and machining processes is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
- Experience operating plasma cutting equipment is preferred.
- Certification in welding processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
