I. General Summary
The Box Office Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth ticketing experience for all patrons at SCHEELS Arena. This individual will assist the Box Office Manager in day-to-day Box Office operations as well on event days. They will help troubleshoot ticketing or hardware issues, assist with ticket processing/sales, reporting, and inventory. As well as providing exceptional customer service to all patrons in person, through email, and over the phone.
II. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Box Office Operations
- Assist in the selling of Season Tickets
- Pull and send accurate reports through Ticketmaster systems, including Host, Archtics & TM1
- Assist with event-day financial reporting
- Operate handheld ticket scanners, computers, and ticket printers
- Accurately complete ticket transactions
Customer Service
- Help guests by selling tickets and ensuring excellent customer service
- Provide accurate answers concerning events, tickets, and the schedule of upcoming events in person and over the phone
- Operate the Season Ticket Holder window during Fargo Force games and frequently work with Season Ticket Holders
- Troubleshoot ticket-related errors or problems that may arise
Supervision
- Oversee part-time Box Office staff on event days
- Monitor each Box Office window to ensure the functionality and efficiency of Ticketmaster hardware
- Assist with the scheduling of Box Office staff
III. Background
Supervision:
This position supervises box office staff and works closely with the Box Office Manager to ensure Box Office Operations meet satisfactory standards.
Customer Service and Sales:
The position requires strong customer service skills. Previous sales experience is a plus.
Mental Application:
This role requires strong operational judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Magnitude and Scope:
The position directly impacts the overall guest experience at SCHEELS Arena.
IV. Conditions and Equipment
Working Conditions:
This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring active involvement during events.

Equipment Operations:
Requires the ability to use standard office equipment and Ticketmaster hardware.
V. Specifications
Education:
A combination of education and experience in Box Office operations is preferred.

Qualifications
- Prior experience with Ticketmaster systems (TM1, TM1 Sales, Host & Archtics) is preferred, but not required
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Systems
- Customer Service experience strongly preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
VI. Essential Functions
Must be able to supervise Box Office staff, provide satisfactory customer service to patrons, and work under limited supervision at times. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and guests.
