Full-Time Weekend Position
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Registered Nurse (RN) Night Supervisor to lead our weekend night team. This is a leadership position that requires someone who is willing to work alongside staff while ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence throughout the building.

Primary ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership
- Supervise nursing staff during weekend night shifts.
- Serve as the clinical leader and resource for all nursing personnel.
- Respond to changes in resident condition and emergency situations.
- Ensure physician orders are carried out accurately and timely.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Staffing & Team Support
- Fill in on the nursing floor as needed if there is a nurse call-off.
- Assist with CNA duties when staffing shortages require additional support.
- Help ensure residents continue receiving excellent care despite staffing challenges.
- Provide coaching and real-time education to nursing and CNA staff.
Weekend On-Call Responsibilities
- Participate in Friday through Sunday night on-call rotation.
- Provide clinical guidance and support for staff after business hours.
- Coordinate with physicians, administration, and other departments when necessary.
Quality Assurance & Auditing
Conduct routine audits including:
- New admission documentation and processes
- Medication carts for organization and compliance
- Medication rooms for cleanliness, security, and regulatory compliance
- Nursing documentation and clinical practices
- Floor nursing skills and competencies
- CNA care practices and competencies
- Infection prevention and safety practices
- Regulatory readiness and survey preparedness
Staff Development
- Observe staff performance and provide immediate coaching.
- Reinforce facility policies and best clinical practices.
- Identify opportunities for education and process improvement.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent assessment, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions independently.
- Working knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
