EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position, you will play an important role in supporting right-of-way activities and ensuring that real estate actions follow laws, policies, and procedures. As a Real Estate Specialist, you will perform the following duties:

Quality Reviews: Conduct quarterly acquisition process reviews and evaluate district compliance with right-of-way requirements

Payment Processing: Review claim payments, verify supporting documents, and prepare payment packages in line with policy

System Support: Assist with database access, troubleshoot user issues, and help test system upgrades for accuracy

Data Oversight: Monitor acquisition and payment data to ensure accuracy and coordinate with staff to resolve discrepancies

Legal Coordination: Prepare complex legal payment submissions and work with the Office of Chief Counsel to address issues

Training Support: Create training materials and provide instruction to district personnel on right-of-way procedures

Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
