Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our historic inn. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine passion for providing an outstanding hospitality experience. This role operates in a dynamic, fast paced environment and requires the ability to work efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and guest service.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Work Schedule
Friday - Tuesday 9:00-5:00
Off days Wednesday and Thursday
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
- Provide exceptional service to guests by responding to requests promptly and courteously.
Experience
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment is beneficial.
- Experience in janitorial or custodial roles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
