Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair using established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash/credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
- Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed, adhering to food industry standards.
Qualifications
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cashiering.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with every guest.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
