Host / Hostess – Pizzetiello (Pearl River, NY)
Pizzetiello is a chef-owned Neapolitan pizza and fresh pasta restaurant in Pearl River, NY. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable host to be the first point of contact for our guests.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous customer-facing experience required
- Reliable transportation is required
- Must be available to work every Friday and Saturday
- Looking for a long-term team member — not a seasonal or summer-only position
- Comfortable speaking with guests in person and over the phone
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and create a positive first impression
- Manage waitlists and guest flow throughout service
- Answer phones and assist with reservations and guest inquiries
- Coordinate seating with the service team
- Assist with takeout orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entry area
- Support the front-of-house team during busy periods
