We are looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our team. Applicants should have experience or at least a general knowledge of natural stone and quartz countertops. Experience in fabrication and/or installation is strongly preferred.
This is a physically demanding position, so candidates must be able to safely lift and carry 100+ pounds with the assistance of fellow team members on a regular basis. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to work hard are essential.
Requirements:
- Experience or general knowledge of natural stone and quartz countertops
- Countertop fabrication and/or installation experience preferred
- Ability to safely perform heavy lifting (100+ lbs with team assistance)
- Knowledge of and experience using power tools
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work well as part of a team
Pay: Compensation is highly dependent on experience. Qualified candidates will be compensated accordingly based on their skills and background.
Summary
As a Granite Fabricator & Installer, you will apply precision fabrication and installation skills to deliver high-quality granite projects. You will fabricate, measure, and cut components using hand and power tools, and install surfaces on-site with attention to safety and exact tolerances. You will report to the project supervisor and collaborate with production and construction teams to meet timelines and quality standards. Our organization relies on your expertise in dimensional measurements, material handling, and adherence to PPE and safety protocols to ensure durable, aesthetic results.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, measure, cut, and shape granite using hand tools and power tools to precise dimensions.
- Install granite slabs/tiles on prepared surfaces, securing with appropriate fasteners and adhesive, while maintaining alignment and level.
- Read and interpret drawings, templates, and dimensional specifications; perform dimensional checks throughout fabrication and installation.
- Operate materials handling equipment (e.g., forklift) as needed; assist with moving heavy stone safely.
- Maintain clean, organized work area; adhere to PPE and safety standards; inspect tools and equipment for proper function.
- Collaborate with team, communicate progress, and adjust tasks to meet project timelines.
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
