Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care and support to individuals in need
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience in senior care, hospice care, or assisted living is preferred
- Ability to work with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects or assist with transfers as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
