Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all plant operations, including production management, quality control, and supply chain activities, to meet organizational goals.
- Develop and execute production planning strategies utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and MRP to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage production scheduling to align with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory targets while maintaining optimal resource utilization.
- Oversee manufacturing management systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data in Excel for insights, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork by providing strong team leadership, cross-functional communication, and staff development programs.
- Collaborate with supply chain management teams to optimize logistics, inventory levels, and procurement processes for seamless operations.
Skills
- Extensive experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a focus on process optimization.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; strong knowledge of MRP systems for inventory control.
- Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma certification preferred, with proven ability to lead process improvement projects.
- Strong analytical skills using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting; familiarity with supply chain analytics is a plus.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with a focus on team development, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication skills.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing management systems, production scheduling techniques, and quality control standards.
- Ability to implement lean management practices that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining safety compliance.
