Do you feel drawn to represent the people of Kent County?The Kent County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is in search of Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys to join the Appellate Division.Assistant Prosecuting Attorney - AppealsThe successful candidates will prepare and respond to motions in trial courts; prepare and respond to filings in the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court, including oral argument as needed; research legal issues and provide assistance and advice to trial attorneys in all divisions of the office, as well as for local law enforcement agencies; and perform other projects related to the work of the office. Experience in handling criminal cases as a practicing attorney or experience with appellate work is preferable.** Please submit a writing sample with your application.Pay Range Depending on Qualifications: Assistant Prosecuting Attorney I - II: $79,543 - $97,416 Annually
