Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Orthopedic Surgery

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a growing orthopedic surgical team in Columbia, SC. This is a great opportunity for a CST who enjoys working in a fast-paced OR environment with a strong focus on orthopedic procedures, total joints, sports medicine, and spine cases.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of surgical technologist experience and a background scrubbing orthopedic cases.
Position Details
- Location: Columbia, SC
- Schedule:
- 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts available
- No weekends and no call requirements
- Compensation: $30-$34/hour
Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist with a variety of orthopedic surgical procedures
- Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team to provide safe and efficient patient care
Case Experience
The OR performs a variety of orthopedic procedures, including:
- Total joint replacements
- Sports medicine procedures
- Upper extremity cases
- Spine procedures
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum of 6 months Surg Tech Experience

- 5 operating rooms
- Average daily case volume of 15-20 procedures
- Higher volume periods reaching up to 30 cases per day
