What will my role entail position Summary?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Low Voltage Installation Technician to join our team.
The Low Voltage Installation Technician will specialize in the installation of commercial Low Voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and IT Structured Cabling. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Low Voltage Technician will also provide mentorship and leadership to junior technicians, ensuring high standards of safety and functionality. Exceptional customer service and support during all project phases are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cable and Install Low voltage systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Work closely with customers, contractors, and other team members to ensure the successful
completion of projects while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations.
- Handle various low voltage systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection
systems, and IT network infrastructure/servers.
- Document all work performed, including installations, repairs, and maintenance, in accordance with
company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continually improve
service quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior technicians, providing on-the-job training and support to enhance their skills
and knowledge.
- Lead by example in maintaining Benson’s safety protocols and job site safety standards.

Qualifications:
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Low Voltage Systems, including expertise in intrusion detection
systems and video surveillance systems. A current Arizona Alarm Agents License. Additional experience with fire alarm systems is a plus.
License: Arizona Alarm Agents License.
