What You'll Do
- Lead and motivate a team of baristas to deliver outstanding customer service and quick, consistent food and beverage prep
- Set the tone on the floor: calm, focused, and friendly, especially when it's busy
- Oversee daily café operations and make sure food safety and food handling standards are always met
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions (we use Toast POS) accurately and securely
- Train team members on blending and prep techniques, serving standards, and proper food safety protocols
- Monitor inventory, place supply orders, and keep the café clean, stocked, and organized
- Support sales goals by engaging customers, sharing what we love about our products, and elevating every visit
- Prioritize smartly to reduce wait times and keep service smooth during peak hours
- Build a team culture where people feel safe, supported, and proud of the work
What You Bring
- Experience in a café, QSR, or retail food setting, with solid prep and service skills
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
- Comfort with POS systems for cashiering and sales
- Excellent customer service instincts and the ability to handle a wide range of customers with patience and care
- Strong organizational skills with real attention to food safety, food handling, and serving standards
- Basic math for cash handling, retail calculations, and inventory
- The ability to stay composed and detail-focused when volume picks up
- Working knowledge of food safety regulations and proper prep techniques
- A team-first attitude: someone who lifts others up rather than competes against them
