Summary
Maintain accurate production of multiple extrusion lines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Identify defects and escalate to Supervisor or Setup Technician.
· Use a variety of tools to perform dimensional checks on extruded parts.
· Complete and document quality checks, including checks within other departments.
· Prepare extruded parts for shipment in accordance with shop packet details.
· Complete daily process logs and documentation according to standards.
· Affix labels and tags for accurate movement, tracking, and shipping purposes
· Work with peers to meet customer needs and organizational goals.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required

Mathematical Skills
Requires math and statistical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Requires ability to compute ratios and percentages and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited instruction and standards exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places, and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of radiation, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and occasionally very loud.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
