This role processes complex, high-tolerance components from materials like titanium, aluminum, and advanced alloys. All operations must strictly follow technical blueprints and aerospace quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Load programs, select correct fixtures, align components, and install specific tooling into 5-axis machines.
- Operation: Run complex machining cycles, monitor tool paths, and adjust machine offsets to maintain exact dimensions.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Maintenance: Perform daily machine maintenance, check fluid levels, clear chips, and monitor tool wear for timely replacement.
- Troubleshooting: Identify machining errors, resolve program alarms, and collaborate with programmers to fix code issues.
- Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean workspace using 5S principles and strictly follow Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention rules.
