We are currently seeking Conventional Machinists for our manufacturing precision machine shop located in Newark, Delaware. Full-time 1st (7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) and 2nd (3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.) shift positions available. Our company offers an excellent benefits package and has climate controlled facilities. Qualified Candidates Must:
- Have at least five years experience as a Conventional Machinist on mills and lathes
- Must have knowledge running Engine Lathes, Turret Lathes, Bridgeports, VTLs and/or VBMs
- Journeyman Machinist preferred
- CNC experience a plus
- Be able to read drawings, understand work instructions and use close tolerance inspection tools
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, lift-assessment and drug screening

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand machining requirements.
- Set up and operate conventional machining equipment such as lathes and mills.
- Perform precision machining to meet specified tolerances using calipers and micrometers.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
