Farmersville Health and Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). This position provides a stable Monday - Friday schedule from 8am-5pm with no weekend requirements.
Operations at our 74-bed facility focus on consistent logistical coverage and organized resident schedules. You will work within a defined physical layout featuring dedicated therapy spaces to manage daily resident treatments efficiently.
Pay, Schedule and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $35 - $38 per hour based on experience.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to facility residents according to the established care plan.
- Input daily treatment notes and document resident progress accurately using electronic medical records.
- Coordinate directly with the Physical Therapist to review resident responses and adjust treatments.
- Instruct residents and family members on proper safety techniques and functional exercise programs.
- Guide residents through functional mobility training and oversee the use of assistive devices.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- 1+ year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment preferred.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance.
