Rosenstein Vision is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Optometric Scribe to join our team full-time. This position works directly with the doctor during patient examinations, assisting with clinical documentation and helping ensure efficient, high-quality patient experience.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Previous experience in healthcare, medical scribing, optometry, or ophthalmology is REQUIRED.
This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a long-term position in healthcare, as well as future optometry students looking to gain valuable clinical and patient care experience.
Responsibilities:
- Document patient encounters, examination findings, and treatment plans in real time during the appointment
- Prepare and review patient charts prior to examinations
- Assist with patient flow and support clinic efficiency throughout the day
- Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and organized
- Support providers with clinical and administrative tasks
- Communicate professionally with patients and team members
- Assist with general office duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Reliable attendance, transportation and punctuality
