Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a strong background in civil construction for our Raleigh/Durham operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operating excavators and bulldozers, with six years of experience in each. Additionally, the candidate should possess eight years of experience in utility work, demolition, clearing, and site preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and bulldozers safely and efficiently, and very well.
- Must be able to read and interpret grade stakes for accurate site preparation.
- Perform tasks related to utility installation, demolition, clearing, and site preparation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Maintain high safety standards on all job sites.
- Must be excited to get off the machine and help the Team.
Qualifications:
- Six years of experience operating excavators.
- Six years of experience operating bulldozers.
- Eight years of experience in utility work, demolition, and clearing.
- Must be able to read and interpret grade stakes.
- Excellent communication skills and physical stamina.
- Strong team player with a focus on safety awareness.
