We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and organization of materials and tools
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and effectively
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Perform concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and rebar installation to create sturdy foundations and structures
- Construct formwork for concrete projects using metal studs, wood, or other materials following blueprint specifications
- Install and work with various building materials such as drywall, stucco, tile, flooring, and plastering components
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols; assist with renovation projects as needed
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of general construction practices
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating tools, machinery, and understanding construction equipment functions
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with concrete work including mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence in compliance with OSHA or local safety regulations
- Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, trowels, and other power tools safely
- Experience with rebar installation, metal stud framing, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and concrete pumping is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during long shifts
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $24.49 - $29.49 per hour
