Patient Experience Coordinator

We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator who will play a key role in helping patients understand their treatment options, navigate finances, and feel confident moving forward with their care.

Responsibilities
- Present recommended treatment plans in a clear and confident manner
- Discuss treatment options and help patients understand the value of their care
- Review fees, insurance estimates, financing options, and payment arrangements
- Help patients schedule and commit to needed treatment
- Follow up with patients who have unscheduled treatment
Schedule Management
- Maintain a productive and full schedule for doctors and hygienists
- Confirm appointments and minimize cancellations and no-shows
- Fill openings quickly when schedule changes occur
- Monitor daily and future schedules to maximize efficiency
Patient Experience
- Serve as a positive first and last impression for every patient interaction
- Welcome patients with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Build strong relationships with patients and their families
- Handle patient concerns with empathy and excellent customer service
- Create a five-star experience that encourages referrals and patient loyalty
Administrative Duties
- Verify and explain insurance benefits
- Coordinate patient communications by phone, text, and email
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications
- Previous dental experience preferred
- Treatment coordinating experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable discussing finances and asking patients to move forward with treatment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with dental software is a plus
