Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations in the Pressing, Finishing, Electrolysis, and PPF departments. This position is responsible for the movement of materials throughout the facility while also assisting production teams with operational tasks to ensure quality, efficiency, and production goals are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret work orders and transfer orders.
- Perform physical and system movement of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
- Load, unload, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support production operations within Pressing, Finishing, Electrolysis, and PPF departments.
- Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Perform daily equipment and area inspections to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas through sweeping, mopping, dusting, and housekeeping activities.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and participate actively in safety programs.
- Cross-train and assist in other departments based on production needs and workload.
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required or ability to become certified.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
