Comprehensive Childcare Associates (CCAPeds) is a fast paced Pediatric Office looking for a full-time enthusiastic, cheerful, self-starter, excellent customer service, data entry skills and a team player medical receptionist for the Sarasota location and who is able to work at the North Port location when needed.

CCAPeds has ten providers and two locations. The main location is in Sarasota and the second location is in North Port. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays 7:45am till 12:30pm.
Saturdays are only in the Sarasota location and are on a rotation basis.
Candidates must be comfortable working with patients, display excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills. Be able to multi-task on several digital platforms simultaneously in a fast pace setting and convey a sense of confidence to our patients.
Responsibilities:
· Must represent the office in a positive manner while greeting and welcoming patients as they come in, answering telephone calls to schedule or change appointments and process payments for patient balances.
· Prepare patient encounters daily for upcoming visits. Contact patients to remind them of their upcoming appointments and advise them of any documents needed for the appointment.
· Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments, deductibles, and patient balances.
· Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar in a timely and appropriate manner.
· Daily tasks include data entry, filing, faxing, scanning documents and uploading documents to patient charts. Reviewing providers’ schedules and preparing necessary documents needed. Completing daily reports, balancing monies collected for deposit and posted to patients account.
· Working with others in a team oriented, fast paced environment and assisting them when needed.
· Other duties that may be assigned by manager or physicians
Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
· Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient in using phone systems and basic computer applications.
· Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.
· Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
