Processing prescriptions electronically and ensuring all information in accurate and complete.
Generating revenues by recording, calculating, and issuing charges.
Administrative tasks such as record-keeping as assigned by Pharmacy Manager.
Delivering medications at the counter and processing payments.
Assisting patients with insurance questions.
Assisting with researching and applying for drug assistance programs for patients needing financial assistance.
Organizing pharmacy inventory.
Measuring, mixing and labeling medication dosages.
Under supervision of Pharmacy Manager, dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications to patients.
Collecting insurance and other information necessary to distribute prescriptions.
Repackaging prescriptions.
