Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current MA RN license required.
- ACLS upon hire, or current BLS with AHA ACLS within 60 days.
- O.R. nursing experience and CNOR preferred.
- Strong multitasking, communication, and adaptability skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care guided by current best practices, protocols, and standards.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs throughout perioperative care.
- Maintain strict aseptic technique, sterile fields, and ensure quality handling of supplies/instruments.
- Provide patient/family education, uphold dignity, and support discharge planning.
- Complete accurate documentation, medication reconciliation, and pain management interventions.
- Identify patient safety risks, address ethical issues, and proactively report/incidents or errors.
