Douglas Taylor Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Inc. is a leading provider of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration, specializing in the restaurant industry throughout the state of Florida. We are currently looking to grow our HVACR service department with the addition of another hardworking, dedicated, conscientious team player for a large commercial customer base covering the west coast of Florida. (Residential techs need not apply).
Qualified candidates must have 5+ years experience in light commercial air conditioning, controls and refrigeration - service, maintenance and installation. Candidates must be well-organized, outgoing, with a positive, upbeat attitude, able to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.

Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of HVACR systems, diagnosis, maintenance and repair.
- Ability to perform all physical aspects associated with HVACR repairs/maintenance.
- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, adjusting and/or repairing a variety of malfunctions in complex, multi-zone air conditioning systems, devising and controlling air distribution efficiently achieving maximum comfort.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing refrigeration equipment: walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins and remote refrigeration systems.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing exhaust systems and make-up air units.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills, able to develop and build positive business relationships with clients
- Ability to work flexible hours, as required, able to work on-call nights/weekends when assigned
- Must possess personal hand tools required to perform the functions of the service technician position
- While performing the duties of this position the employee is required to stand, walk or sit. Must also be able to bend, squat/kneel, climb and lift up to 50 lbs with out assistance.
