Job Summary
We are looking to grow our production team for the 2026 season (August-December). In this role, you will be an essential part of the Happy Apples operations team, ensuring our products are made to the highest quality, both efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced production environment.
No experience necessary—just a smile and a happy attitude. Current openings for our Happy Apples facility in Washington, MO, include full-time day shifts and part-time second shifts. The part-time positions make great jobs for students or those looking to pick up a second job. Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment used in food processing and packaging, following all safety protocols.
- Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling products according to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to strict food safety and HACCP guidelines.
- Monitor production lines for quality control, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Support inventory management by tracking raw materials and finished goods, reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Use basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and quality checks during production processes.
Skills
- Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing environments is highly desirable, especially within the food industry.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on food safety and quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

We do offer a bonus of $2.00 per hour worked for all employees who have completed the season.
