At Teriyaki Madness, we're not your average fast-casual restaurant. We serve bold, made-to-order Asian-inspired bowls with fresh ingredients and outstanding service. We're looking for energetic, dependable leaders who enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and know how to keep a team motivated.
As a Shift Lead, you'll be the coach on the floor—leading by example, supporting your team, and making sure every guest leaves happier than when they walked in.
What You'll Do
- Lead the restaurant during assigned shifts with confidence and positivity.
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring fast, friendly, and accurate service.
- Coach, motivate, and develop team members throughout each shift.
- Open or close the restaurant following company standards.
- Ensure food is prepared safely, accurately, and consistently.
- Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and speed of service.
- Assign tasks and keep the team focused during busy periods.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and turn problems into positive experiences.
- Count drawers, balance cash, and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all food safety, health department, and company operating procedures.
- Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations and team development.

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
