We are looking to bring on another LVT to join our team! We are a full service animal hospital providing comprehensive care for our clients. Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital radiographs, and pharmacy. Responsibilities:
-Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with coworkers and clients.
-Proficiency in phlebotomy, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and dental prophies.
-Perform quality, full body and dental radiographs.
-Restrain animals safely and effectively. Be able to (lift, move, carry) animals up to 40 pounds.
-Assist veterinarians in medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
-Be able to communicate with veterinarians and tech assistants.
- Keep accurate medical records.
-Adhering to hospital standards that keep treatment areas, examine rooms, and labs cleaned and organized.
-Provide surgical discharge and home care instructions to clients after patient procedures.
