Offering Wage Compensation range of $22-$28, dependent on experience
East Lancaster Animal Hospital is a busy small-animal clinic situated near downtown Fort Worth, We help our patients receive affordable and high-quality veterinary care in a supportive environment.
We are looking for:
a compassionate, reliable individual to support our technicians and veterinarians while helping pets and their families — especially our Spanish-speaking clients.
What you’ll do:
- Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Communicate with client, doctors and team members with treatment , concerns. Provide client education
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Assist with blood draws, IV catheters, fluid pumps, and sample collection.
- Run in-house lab work and prepare samples for outside labs.
- Assist with radiographs, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
- Help with surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment notes.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Who you are:
- 2+ years of veterinary technician experience required, previous critical care experience desired
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
