This is a hands-on, fabrication-focused position where you'll build custom steel assemblies and support hydraulic cylinder and fluid power component repairs. ⭐What You'll Do
- Weld and fabricate custom steel assemblies
- Support hydraulic repair projects requiring welding and fabrication
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and job specifications
- Fit, assemble, and weld components to precise standards
- Design and set up welding fixtures and jigs as needed
- Verify materials against customer and shop drawings before production
- Cut materials using power saws and prepare surfaces using grinders and hand tools
- Select proper welding procedures and materials for each job
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and shop safety standards
✅ Qualifications
- AWS Certification or current industry welding certification
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
- Steel welding experience required
- Aluminum welding experience preferred
- Ability to read welding symbols and fabrication drawings
- Strong fabrication and fitting skills preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or shop environment
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to accurately measure and prepare components for welding
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
