Growing company looking for a Restaurant Finance Manager that oversees the financial health of an establishment by managing budgets, controlling prime costs (food and labor), and analyzing profitability. They ensure accurate financial reporting, streamline cash flow, and implement cost-saving strategies to maximize revenue in the highly competitive hospitality industry.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare annual budgets, conduct monthly variance
analyses, and generate sales forecasts. Forecasting company finances and creating
financial models
Compiling Financial Data: Creating reports, assessing financial risks and analyzing the
financial health of the company
Cost Control: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly costs, heavily focusing on food waste
and labor optimization.
Payroll & Cash Management: Oversee daily cash deposits, tip reconciliation, and
accurate payroll processing.
Reporting: Reconcile ledgers, manage accounts payable/receivable, and provide clear
financial summaries to ownership or unit management.
Compliance & Auditing: Enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with local,
state, and federal tax regulations.
Key Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of financial management or accounting experience, ideally within
the hospitality, food service, or multi-unit restaurant sector.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a
related field.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting/POS
systems (Restautant365 and Tabit)
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of restaurant metrics, including Prime Cost
(target <30%), Food Cost Percentage, and Labor Cost Percentage.

Labor Productivity (Sales per Labor Hour)
