At this time, we are hiring for a part-time assistant as a float to support in each of the classrooms. Shifts are 4-5 hours per day. We have one shift that is 9:00-1:00 and another shift that is 1:00-5:00.
Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate Early Childhood Assistant Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates may have experience in childhood development and love working with children. This position involves working with children in a daycare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in transitions with children
- Engage positively with children to maintain safety in the classrooms
- Break coverage
- Implement strategies for managing classroom behavior effectively
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young students in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
