Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for employees regarding HR questions, concerns, and support needs.

Provide support on employee relations matters, including issue intake, documentation, follow-up, policy interpretation, and coordination with leadership.

Partner with managers and HR leadership to ensure employee matters are handled consistently, professionally, and with sound judgment.

Support employee coaching, communication, and documentation related to performance, attendance, workplace concerns, and other employee relations matters.

Help reinforce company policies, expectations, and people practices in a clear, practical, and employee-friendly manner.

Assist in maintaining a positive, high-accountability employee experience across the organization.

Prepare employee communications, policy updates, and other people-related materials.

Support payroll processing activities with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.

Review and maintain employee data, job changes, compensation updates, and other payroll-related records.

Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries.

Assist employees with routine benefits-related questions and coordinate with vendors as needed.

Help prepare for and support open enrollment activities, employee communications, and follow-up.

Maintain accurate benefits records and assist with reconciliations and reporting.

Maintain organized employee files, HR records, and documentation.

Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, employee communications, and internal coordination.

Assist with day-to-day HR operations and administrative processes.

Build and maintain people processes, templates, trackers, workflows, and documentation.

Support recruiting efforts including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and hiring process coordination.

Source candidates for current and future openings through LinkedIn, job boards, and other recruiting channels.

Build and maintain talent pipelines for priority and future hiring needs.

Maintain recruiting trackers, candidate records, and hiring documentation.

Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to move searches forward efficiently and effectively.

Work closely with cross-functional partners in a highly collaborative, in-office environment.

Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining responsiveness, accuracy, and follow-through.

Take ownership of assigned work and proactively solve problems as they arise.

Adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving business needs.

Support additional HR initiatives, projects, and organizational growth efforts as needed.

3+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Relations, HR Operations, or a related role.

Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including employee relations, payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration.

Demonstrated ability to handle employee matters with professionalism, discretion, consistency, and sound judgment.

Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of professionalism when handling confidential information.

Ability to work with urgency and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, applicant tracking systems, and benefits administration tools.

Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, or startup-like environment.

Hands-on payroll and benefits administration experience.
-
Experience supporting employee relations documentation, employee communications, and HR compliance processes.

Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools.

Experience within food, distribution, logistics, supply chain, trading, or other operationally intensive environments.

Base salary: $85,000-$110,000+ (commensurate with experience).
