Security Officer Housing Facility
As a Security Officer Experienced Licensed Patrol Role in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government services location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, observe visitor and occupant activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues in accordance with post instructions.

Support staff, visitors, and members of the public with directions, information, and assistance while maintaining awareness of the surroundings and following established protocols.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
